What’s Happening: Church services and Messy Church

Our Church Services

Our weekly Sunday service starts at 10.30am.

On the second Sunday of each month the service is family-orientated  when the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides  join us, for their parade service. This service is particularly suited to all ages and is generally shorter than 1 hour.

After each service, everybody is welcome to stay behind and enjoy free tea, coffee, orange juice and biscuits.

Communion services are held once each month and all are welcome to join in.

We welcome children to our services! We know that most children will become wriggly and restless, so we are happy to do related craft activities with them at the back of the church – or provide colouring activities should they prefer to sit with you.

Baptisms, Weddings and funerals are arranged via our minister, Revd. Sharon Read, or our Senior Steward, Mrs. Lorna Kerry.

Messy Church

On the second Sunday of each month we have Messy Church, from 3.30 pm to 5 pm. This is a really fun time for children plus carers; be prepared to get messy!

What is Messy Church? We meet monthly for an hour’s messy activities – painting, sticking, craft followed by a story and song, and then tea.

WHO?      Everyone welcome – children, parents, grannies, individuals of any age.  Grown-ups tend to work with their children or even have a go at the crafts themselves – and then sit and chat over sandwiches and cake.

WHEN?     Always the second Sunday in the month (3:30 – 5pm)

Please come along and bring your friends

No cost ** No need to book a place**

Messy Church is held monthly, but there is no Messy Church in August.
