We are a Church that serves the local community

All Methodists are called to service. We do this as individuals and as a church.

As a church, our two main current community activities include two Cafes, one on Wednesday morning and one on Friday morning.

Wednesday Community Cafe

Our Wednesday cafe is open every Wednesday from 9:30 to noon at the Brandlesholme Community Centre.
we look forward to meeting friends old and new at the Community Centre for tea, coffee, hot chocolate, toast, biscuits and homemade cake. All are most welcome to join us for a natter and a drink! No charge, of course.

The Community Centre is at the end of the parade of shops on Brandlesholme Road (next to the Mace shop/Post Office).

Friday Community Cafe

Our Friday cafe is hosted in our own Church hall at Brandlesholme Methodist Church on Boulden Drive.
The cafe is open from 10am – 12 noon each Friday. Hot drinks, toast and cake are available – all free of charge. Everyone is most welcome to join us. We look forward to seeing you there.

For directions to our Church see either the Home page or the Sunday Services page.

Litter Picking

Our litter picking venture is currently suspended due to our members being involved in the two community cafe activities, but it was run for a number of years; you might have seen our litter pickers in the streets near the Church and around the shops on Brandlesholme Rd.

The dedicated pickers used to meet every third Thursday and worked diligently for a couple of hours filling many bags with discarded waste. Hopefully the venture will start up again in the future.
