Welcome to the Brandlesholme Methodist Church website

We have created these pages in order to tell you a little about our church, where we are in Bury and the times of our services.

We don’t intend that these pages tell you everything about us, so to know more, come along and visit us.

You will be warmly welcomed!

Come and join us this Sunday.

We meet together on Sundays at 10.30am at our church on Boulden Drive, close to Brandlesholme Road near the centre of Brandlesholme.
(Occasionally we meet with our friends at Bolton Road Methodist Church, in which case there would not be a service here at Boulden road. Please click on the Sunday Services button at the top of this page to check the services for the current month.)

Regardless of your church tradition or previous experience with the Christian faith, you will be made very welcome here! Our church is always decribed by new-comers as "very friendly and welcoming".

If you have children, they don't have to stay in the service for the whole time but can go with one of our members to an ajoining room to our Sunday Club.

The service ends about 11.30am when we have tea, coffee and biscuits, and maybe cake!

Our full postal address is:

We are a Messy Church !

Messy Church is a church for families who like stories, craft and games.

It runs on Saturdays (the second in each month), starting at 10:30 am with breakfast!

We look forward to meeting you – or seeing you again.

Click the Messy Church button at the top of this page to find out more.

We are a Church that serves the local community

All Methodists are called to service. We do this as individuals and as a church.

As a church, our current community activities include two Cafes, one on Wednesday morning and one on Friday morning.

To find out more about these and other ways we have served the community click the Community Activities button at the top of this page.

We are a part of the Methodist Church which is called to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.

To find out more about how those in the Methodist Church do this, click the Methodist Way Of Life button at the top of this page.

Everyone is welcome

The Methodist Church is committed to Justice, Dignity and Solidarity. We believe that all people are uniquely made in the image of God, and we aim to live this out in the Church and in our communities. This forms our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) work.
